Altron, a leading provider of data centres and technology infrastructure, has decided to unify its IT systems using INSIO.
About Altron
Altron has been on the market for more than 30 years and specializes in providing data centers and technological infrastructure for critical business applications. The company has completed significant projects for clients such as Seznam.cz, Komerční banka, and the mobile operator Oskar, which is now Vodafone. It operates in various industries, including telecommunications, energy, transportation, logistics, industry, banking, insurance, public administration, and security forces.
Reasons for Change
Before the implementation of INSIO, Altron used many different systems, which led to complications and inefficient data transmission. The need for a centralized solution that would unify all internal processes was therefore crucial. As an ERP and accounting system, the company used Microsoft Navision software. They replaced it with the INSIO system, into which they centralized all key processes.
Key Benefits
Users no longer have to learn to use several different systems.
All processes are interconnected, ensuring a smooth flow of information.
The system has simplified administrative tasks and reduced errors.
Authorized employees have immediate access to important information and reports.
Unified record of orders and tenders.
We interviewed CEO Martin Souček
What is Altron's mission and daily bread for you?
"First and foremost, a satisfied customer, then simplicity, speed, and efficiency on the path to the desired result, and last but not least, innovation. Altron also considers what kind of planet we leave for our children. We propose sustainable solutions and prove that economic and ecological solutions can go hand in hand."
What does innovation mean to you?
"Innovation has accompanied us throughout our history. The field of IT is very dynamic, and the company must respond to new technologies in advance. It is not enough to just keep up; we must create innovations ourselves. However, sometimes it brings quick decisions and changes that do not lead to an efficient whole. The unification and modernization of IT systems was initially expensive, and other projects took priority."
What specific steps did Altron have to take for IT consolidation?
"The first step was to review and visualize internal processes. This was followed by the analysis, preparation, and setting of our own processes."
What did the cooperation with INSIO look like?
"At the beginning, there was an analysis and the project was phased. The implementation of modules was gradual, in small groups. The internal helpdesk, orders, and invoice approval came first.
This was followed by mail, partners, and asset records, and then personnel administration, including employee records. External integrations followed, such as NextCloud for file storage and the Money S3 accounting system. INSIO helped us remove barriers related to external accounting management."
The implementation of the customer helpdesk and order management brought the greatest benefit. Today, we record tenders, quotations, and orders in one place. We see the budget for the business case, generate invoices, and send them to the customer. The efficiency and overview of the whole and the details of the order are invaluable. We adapted to using the INSIO ERP very quickly."
Summary
Thanks to the introduction of the INSIO system, Altron managed to unify and modernize its internal processes, leading to a significant improvement in company operations and higher customer satisfaction.
