How did HAUK s.r.o. manage to streamline maintenance and management of equipment using the INSIO system?
About the Company
HAUK s.r.o. is a significant player in the production of welded and pressed parts for the automotive industry, especially for ŠKODA a.s. The company was founded in 1998 and holds several quality and environmental certificates. With two production locations and more than 20 qualified employees, it ranks among the major employers in the Police nad Metují region.
Need for Change
HAUK faced challenges associated with a complex and time-consuming maintenance and employee tracking system. It needed a tool that would simplify these processes and provide a better overview of equipment status and employee performance.
Implementation of the INSIO System
The deployment of the INSIO system took just 14 days, and since then, HAUK s.r.o. has been using an intuitive and simple tool to manage maintenance for 781 pieces of equipment. The mobile application allows maintenance workers to instantly and accurately record all tasks, leading to immediate data reporting and analysis. Currently, 38 maintenance workers and a total of 56 users are using the mobile application.
How Does It Work?
Each employee has a user-friendly application on their mobile phone, which provides requests for repairs, service, or inspections. From the moment the task is reported, the reaction time starts counting down. The maintenance worker scans the QR code of the specific equipment using the application, resolves the reported task, marks it as completed, and everything is immediately recorded for both the corresponding equipment and the employee's work report.
Key Benefits of the INSIO System
Clear Equipment Record: The system allows detailed division of buildings into lines, areas, or floors without limiting the number of equipment.
Maintenance Automation: Employees receive task alerts directly through the mobile application, eliminating the need for complex communication and phone calls.
Performance Tracking: The employer has real-time insights into the reaction time and performance of employees, facilitating maintenance planning and optimization.
Time Savings: The company saves 160 hours of administrative work per month thanks to the automated work report system.
Compliance with Legal Obligations: The system automatically plans and reminds about regular inspections and maintenance, ensuring compliance with legal obligations.
Technical Equipment: INSIO provides a clear list of all technical equipment, allowing the attachment of all documents without limitation, which facilitates audits and inspections.
Conclusion
The implementation of the INSIO system has brought significant improvements to HAUK s.r.o. in maintenance management and equipment administration. The company now has a modern tool that ensures transparency, saves time, and allows for more precise maintenance planning. All of this contributes to higher employee satisfaction and more efficient company operations.
